Play Area, Safety & Hygiene

How do you sanitize the play area?

add

Safety is our top priority. All toys at Naru Play Café are treated with SMARTCOAT, an eco-friendly coating proven to eliminate viruses (including Human Coronavirus and Coxsackievirus), bacteria, and mold. Additionally, we manually sanitize toys throughout the day using child-safe disinfectants.

How often is the café cleaned?

add
  • Weekdays: We sanitize before opening, three times during the day, and at closing.
  • Weekends & Public Holidays: We close the entire premises for 30 minutes every 2 hours for a thorough deep clean and reset.

What age group is the play area for?

add

There is no minimum age to visit — babies and newborns are welcome. Each zone has its own guidance: the toddler soft-play is open from 3 months, and the wooden adventure structure from 3 years to 12. We also have a large slide with a ball pit, pretend-play stations, and a selection of children's books.

Is wearing socks compulsory?

add

For hygiene and safety, we highly recommend that both adults and children wear grip socks. This helps prevent slips and limits the spread of illnesses like HFMD. Grip socks are available for purchase at the counter if you forget yours.

Can I leave my children unattended?

add

No. Parents and guardians are required to supervise their children at all times. Naru is a parent-present space — children must stay within your line of sight, and we are not responsible for injuries that occur if a child is left unattended.

Reservations & Sessions

Why can’t I book for next month?

add

Our reservation slots open 2 weeks in advance. You can check availability and book directly through our reservation link.

Book via Umai

Why are there no time slots available on the booking page?

add

If a slot is not visible, it means that the session is fully booked. We recommend checking alternative dates or times.

Why do you use fixed time slots on weekends and holidays?

add

Since our dining and play zones are integrated, we use fixed sessions to:

  • Ensure cleanliness: We close the entire café between sessions to deep clean and sanitize every surface.
  • Control capacity: This prevents overcrowding so every family has plenty of room to eat, play, and relax comfortably.

Facilities & Logistics

Can I bring a stroller?

add

To keep the floor clear for running children and prevent accidents, we only allow strollers inside the café if a baby is currently napping. Otherwise, please fold your stroller and store it in our lobby area. We recommend using a baby carrier for easier movement within the café.

Do you have a nursing room?

add

Yes. We have a dedicated nursing room and diaper-changing facilities available for your convenience.

Can I bring outside food or decorations?

add

Outside food and drinks are not allowed for hygiene reasons, except for baby food. For birthday parties, you may bring your own cake and themed decorations (subject to our prior approval).

Where can I park?

add
  • Basement parking: Please note the autopay machine accepts cash only.
  • Valet parking: Available right outside our entrance for your convenience.
