A calm harbor for
the modern family.
A space we built for ourselves first — where parents can finish a hot coffee while their children play, grow, and explore in safety.

Meet Nana & Hui Ru
Naru was born from a dilemma every parent knows: spaces for kids aren't designed for adults, and spaces for adults aren't safe for kids.
As a new mother, Hui Ru found it nearly impossible to enjoy a meal while her young son played. Most spaces were either too chaotic for a toddler or too restrictive for a child to truly "let loose." Seeking a solution, she called her friend Nana to begin a new venture — one that prioritized both the child's joy and the parent's peace of mind.
They found their sanctuary in Bukit Jalil. With its high ceilings and flooding natural light, the space was transformed using Japandi design to create the calm, quietly luxurious vibe parents crave.

Separated Play Zones
To stop toddlers being overwhelmed by older kids, we split the play area into two dedicated zones — 0–3 years and 3+ years.

Heartfelt Hospitality
A pork-free, Muslim-friendly space where "finishing a hot coffee" isn't a luxury — it's a given.
"We wanted somewhere we could actually finish a hot coffee — while our children played in a place we trusted."
Why we called it Naru.
"A safe harbor where families grow."
To become. To grow. The constant evolution of a child's mind, and the nurturing environment we hope to give it.
A ferry crossing. A port. A safe harbor where families dock, rest, and continue their journey lighter.
Three things we won't compromise on.
Safety
Zoned play areas, non-toxic materials, soft edges, and full visibility. Designed so you can exhale.
Sophistication
No nuggets-and-fries shortcut. Specialty coffee and a chef-led kitchen worth ordering from.
Community
Workshops, parent circles, and slow gatherings — a village for the modern family.
Come see for yourself.
The kettle's on, the play zone is set. We'd love to host you.
